A passionate lifelong educator, Jack teaches instrumental technique at the double bass and bass guitar in traditions ranging from European classical music to jazz and popular styles and beyond. Jack also teaches musicianship, improvisation, rhythm, and music theory to players of any instrument. For ensembles of any size, Jack offers coaching for concert music from any period and popular styles of all kinds.

In addition to maintaining a private studio in Brooklyn, New York, Jack's fifteen years of teaching experience include faculty positions at New York University's Steinhardt school and the Charles River Creative Arts Program.
